I’ve done 2 courses so far with Rosie and the team at K9 FUNZONE, first a 2 session recall course when my staffy pup was 12 weeks old followed by… read more a 6 week puppy boot camp course a few weeks later. My pup absolutely loves the classes, they’re the highlight of his week! Everyone on the team is lovely, helpful and knowledgeable and you can tell they genuinely care about the dogs at the classes, all of them have their own dogs at home and can relate to any puppy training issues that you’re struggling with! I have often text Rosie in between classes to get some advice about things and she is always more than happy to help and share her wisdom! I now have a very happy, obedient, calm, well adjusted 5 month old puppy that is an absolute joy (99% of the time!) and I put that down to investment in his training during those early, crucial months of socialisation. I was also really impressed with how the dog to dog interactions were managed as I was particularly keen to socialise my pup with other dogs in a safe, well managed space to give him as many positive experiences with other dogs as possible at a young age, particularly due to his breed. I’m now signed up to their 6 week agility course starting tomorrow and will do the advanced agility course following that! It’s so much fun and means you form such a strong bond with your dog so much so that they genuinely want to please you – this also makes recall sooo much easier and stronger as my dog wants to be in close proximity to me playing games and having fun! She is better behaved while on a lead and her recall is now very good. I’m so glad we signed up for these classes, we were struggling to learn dog training from a book. It was so much better learning in a class and has helped my dog to socialise safely with other nice pups. Rosie is a brilliant dog trainer, full of energy, positivity, and intuitive with the individual puppy personalities. She’s good with humans too! Her staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. We will be moving on to the Agility Training Course next week and we can’t wait!
